HPC Applications - April 2011

HPC Applications are due in April 2011 post Nationals.  All applications need to be submitted by Wednesday 20th April 2011.

Process of obtaining a scholarship at SNZ HPC at MISH:

  • Date of Applications – Bi-annually (April and September);
  • Application forms are available for downloading from the website HPC Info Pack - page 5, however, you can also contact Rebecca Turner for further information at rebecca@swimmingnz.org.nz  or on (09) 477 2023 for application forms;
  • Swimmer to complete application form and book meeting with home coach, swimmer, HPC coaches and GMPP and/or Susan Thomason (Athlete Life Planner) for submission;
  • Confirm HPC 1 week trial date with SNZ GMPP;
  • Once accepted into the HPC, SNZ will present swimmer with a Scholarship offer letter outlining: “A” or “B” Scholarship, start date, timelines, review processes, trial dates, terms and conditions and overall HPC expectations.  The difference between an “A” or “B” Scholarship is that with B Scholarships, funding for International Events may entail some user pays and review processes will be more frequent (quarterly);
  • Swimmer to sign acceptance letter and accept all terms & conditions outlined and return to GMPP;
  • Unsuccessful applicants will be advised in writing.

** High School Leavers (due to finish school in December) should submit an application form in April advising the GMPP of their intent to join the HPC in December **
