Mark Berge – Chairperson

Wellington-based management consultant.  Director of SNZ and Swimming Wellington.

 

Nelson Cull

Tauranga-based businessman and director.  SPARC appointed advisor to the Swimming New Zealand Board.

Previously SPARC appointed Independent Commissioner of NZ Football and director and chair of the finance and audit committee of Netball NZ.

 

Alison Fitch

Programme manager at Drug Free Sports NZ and member of the SNZ Board.

Has participated in three Olympic Games and two Commonwealth Games as an athlete and official.  Won a bronze medal at the 2006 Melbourne games in the 4x200m relay and is national 100m freestyle champion.

 

Don Tricker

High performance manager with NZRU.

Former high performance consultant with SPARC where he worked with athletics, bike, swimming, netball and rugby.  Attended two Olympic Games and three Commonwealth Games in a coach support role.  Player, then head coach of New Zealand Black Sox who won gold at the 2000 and 2004 world series.  Former Halberg Awards Coach of the Year.

 

Donna Bouzaid

A company director. Also runs coaching clinics.

Board member on the SNZ board from 2003 - 2008. Swimming New Zealand High Performance Coach since 2004. In 2006 had one of her swimmers get a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games. Had a World Junior Swim Champion in 2008. Put two swimmers on the 2008 Olympic Games team in Beijing. Has been a coach on NZ Swim teams since 2000. Was a member of the team to the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
